In this crowd scene illustration project, completed for Professor Stephen Ibbott’s Structure & Story class at Seneca College, I envisioned a bustling supermarket scenario. The focal point of the scene is a whimsical twist – a giant grey cat donning an apron, seamlessly blending in with other shoppers while pushing a shopping cart. The narrative captures a mix of reactions, including startled individuals reacting to the unexpected feline presence, juxtaposed with cat enthusiasts approaching the giant cat with playful cat toys. This contrast creates a dynamic and lighthearted atmosphere, highlighting the interplay between ordinary and extraordinary elements. Through this illustration, I aimed to explore storytelling within a busy setting, infusing humor and imagination to engage viewers while also showcasing my artistic skills in depicting diverse characters and emotions.
